Very tasty food and a great atmosphere. This really gave the feel of the old time small diner. The food was quick and good. This is far from healthy food, but it is very good and filling. Everything about the location is small. The booths were hard to fit in to. I can see where someone who is on the larger side would have trouble fitting in the booths. The bathroom were also exceptionally small. There was barely enough room to move around in there.I would visit this location again if I was in the mood for a hearty, good, hot breakfast.

I have been wanting to try Morgs for years and finally made it on a Friday late morning when I thought it would not be so crowded. The place was full and it took us about 15 minutes to get a seat. Others behind us waited longer as more (!) arrived, perhaps for lunch. This is a no nonsense establishment. We were served very large portions at a reasonable price. Please be aware that they only accept cash. Even I could not finish my plates of food.

Every time I get to Waterloo I go to Morgs. You might have to wait for a table, but the wait is worth it. The best breakfast comfort foods ever.

Best breakfast in town! And biggest pancakes I have ever seen!!!! Highly recommend a visit for breakfast.

Great place!! Heaping amounts of tasty food and they keep your coffee cup full. If your hungry, try Terry's omelette. You won't leave hungry or broke.

Cute and quaint litttle diner tucked away in downtown Waterloo Iowa. Lunch counter and cozy booths with jukebox enhance the atmosphere. Generous food portions at reasonable prices complete the experience.

Great place for breakfast. As out of town travelers we just picked a spot for breakfast and were not disappointed. Had the corn beef hash and there way no way I could finish it.

Morgs is wonderful. Its really a lot of food to take it but if you can the nap afterwards is pure bliss. I love this place. Has been wonderful since I was a kid

Best breakfast I have had in a long time. Hash browns are the highlight, been years since I had real hash browns. Just like my Grandma use to make!And the side of gravy... Ended up on everything it was so good!

The hamburger was very good. We also shared the s’mores pie. Clearly homemade and also very good. Friendly staff. Small sitting areas. Very limited space. Food portions small. Don’t order a dinner salad unless you just like iceberg lettuce.

This is the best breakfast in the entire world, hands down. I have been moving around and whenever I am in town, I come here. Yes wait times can happen, but it's so worth it! Super awesome greasy spoon place. Best omelet, massive pancakes. Love LOVE it!!

This is a gr8 breakfast restaurant, it was gr8 pleasure watching the cook, she had it all down pat.

After 10 years traveling across the Midwest this IS THE PLACE for BREAKFAST! My favorite place ever.The atmosphere, the "live cooking show" 😄, the hasbrowns...oh my goodness!I highly suggest you to stop there!...and if you like pancakes when the sun rise up, be sure you are hungry enough, because they are so big!!!

Awesome old school diner had to wait was worth it. The sixty old lady cooking the food was great to see grandma cooking breakfast. Small place nobody is in a hurry so don't go if you have no patience. But nine employees working for nine booths and a counter, refreshing to see they are here for the customer and staff is not all stressed out. Chicken fried steak was great son loved the giant pancakes. This place is a gem keep up the great work.

Kids loved the pancakes and cinnamon rolls. The omelets were great too!

AMAZING food and service! The coffee is super tasty also!! They do not take debit or credit card's. Get there early because it gets busy REALLY fast and stays busy!! ENJOY!!!

Great breakfast at a super price. You have to try their pancakes, second to none an HUGE!!! Atmosphere is hometown and very very friendly. If you're heading through Waterloo you have to stop by.

One of the gems of Waterloo and Northeast Iowa. I'd like to say that it's a "hidden gem" but it seems that everyone has heard of Morg's and its incredible food and great staff. The environment is as neat as it is old fashioned. Set up as a diner from a time gone by, you can watch the chefs cook your food as you enjoy the fun size booths and interesting decor. A must stop if you're in or around Waterloo!

Ya can't go wrong in Morg's! Wow! I saw giant pancakes float past me on plates headed to hungry, grateful looking customers. I had the cornbeef hash and scrambled eggs. Perfectly made! I would definitely go back!

I love Morg's. They have a great selection. The food is always hot and they give you gigantic portions. The only drawback is that they don't accept credit or debit cards. But this place is worth the trip.

The service was 5 Gold Stars! Absolutely old fashioned attention to the customer! You can't find this service very many places!. My coffee never ran out, food was a 10+, and portions were huge!!. Best Sunday Breakfast period!
